New here? This is part 2 of my free tech stack for neurodivergent entrepreneurs! If you wanna read the 1st part with Notion, Payhip, Tally and Fathom, check it out here 🫶🏾
I’ve been broke for a LONG TIME, and bloated workflows just don’t work for me
When I left my salaried job, I didn’t have cash to spend on software while I was building my business. And as a neurodivergent babe in a space built for neurotypical tech bros, most tools felt like squeezing my round brain into a square hole
So I spent literal years testing the free or nearly‑free stuff until my brain landed on tools that felt right. Now I have a tech stack that stays under $500 a year, adapts when my workflows change, and feels nice and flowyyy
And I’m sharing with you so you don’t have to spend years testing tools out 😜
Not everything I use is listed because some tools just run in the background and I honestly forget about them lol. And yes, some links are affiliate links – use them if you want me to earn some $$
Gumroad
what I use it for
- selling Notion templates (but not really cos they’re all free)
- payment processor for my services
how much I pay for it
10% + credit card fees on each sale, with no monthly subscription
why I love it
Mainly because it pays out to my local bank account in Trinidad & Tobago 😂
Other, more popular storefronts only pay out via Stripe or PayPal; Stripe isn’t available in T&T, while PayPal is only accessible if you have a Visa debit car
Gumroad also allows you to sell more than digital products; you can sell memberships, e-books, courses and workshops, and even calls and have tip jar
I haven’t tried out the call option but it seems pretty limited compared to using a dedicated booking tool (like Cal)
I plan on talking more about how I use Gumroad and how I earn money online while living in Trinidad & Tobago, so get on the email list to get first dibs on that read 🙂↕️

MailerLite
what I use it for
- nurturing my customers after purchase
- sending emails to my email list
how much I pay for it
$0.00 for up to 500 email subscribers
why I love it
It’s honestly pretty easy to use! Intuitive, customer service is SO responsive and helpful, and their help docs are well fleshed out
The 500 subscriber limit is, to me, generous – I only have around 250 subscribers so far and am serious about culling inactive ones. And with this subscriber limit, you get:
- 12,000 emails a month
- unlimited segmentation and groups
- automations up to 100 steps
- 1 connected website
- up to 10 connected landing pages
why I’d pay for it
Honestly, as my email list needs are right now I don’t need to BUT these are the features in the $10 a month Growing Business plan that would be nice to have:
- edit links in sent campaigns
- send paid newsletters
- unsubscribe page builder (not sure why this is in a paid plan tbh, seems weird)
- auto resend campaigns to non-openers
But again, if you have less than 500 subscribers or are just building your list, the free plan works pretty well!

Cal
what I use it for
Booking client and connection calls stress free.
how much I pay for it
$0.00
why I love it
I LOVE SO MUCH ABOUT CAL!
You can add unlimited event types and add multiple calendars to check for conflicts as an individual for free. I literally ran away from Calendly to Cal when I found this out.
Even more than that, Cal allows you to send reminder emails so you don’t have to think about it. They are no longer customizable on the free plan (I imagine it started getting abused), but the default emails get the job done.
One of my fave features is the private links to events. I use them when I have a client I need to accommodate outside of my regular hours, but I also don’t want them accessing the link forever lol. After use, the link expires and can’t be used again!
And all of these features are free for individuals, so I don’t have to think about paying for like ever.
why I would pay for it
The $15 a month Teams plan is great for small teams who often have calls together. These features honestly feel like they’re best for sales teams, or maybe SaaS companies? So I might not be interested in paying for it 😅 but that’s the great thing about tools – they work for who they work for!

Metricool
what I use it for
Scheduling my Threads post yapping about my services because I tend to forget lol.
how much I pay for it
$0.00
what I love it
I’ve used so many content schedulers and none of them besides Metricool let me edit a scheduled post without unscheduling it first.
Out of ALL the schedulers I’ve tried, I stuck with Metricool for THIS. It’s so annoying to have to wanna fix a typo and go through a bunch of extra clicks to do that.
Other thing that I really like about Metricool is that I can shift posts around from the calendar instead of, again, unscheduling it, then adjusting the date, then scheduling it again lol.
On the free plans, I get:
- 50 posts a month, no matter the platform
- access to up to 3 months of data analytics
- autolists for scheduling content on a rolling basis (I use this the most!)
why I would pay for it
Honestly so I could post more on Threads cos I love to yap 👉🏾👈🏾
And for $22 a month? I’d say that’s a good deal. The Starter plan also has:
- unlimited monthly posts
- LinkedIn connection (with option to add Twitter)
- unlimited analytics
- Google Drive and Canva integrations
They also charge in € if you’re on that side of the world!

If you’ve been jury rigging your business, these tools should give you back some time and calm without having to worry about your business spending. Give these tools a try and let me know how they work for you!
And if you’re thinking of switching to any of these tools and unsure about it, book a sit-down with the Oracle to get more information on how to decide which tools are right for you!
There are actually more tools I shared in part 1 of my tech stack → part 1
