Most people hear "business systems strategist" and think I'm gonna show up with a spreadsheet and a flowchart and tell you to automate everything
And like… I can do that. But that's not really my vibe 😂
it's not just about the tools
When I say "systems," I don't just mean your Notion workspace or your project management setup or your automations (even though yes, I do help with all of that)
I'm talking about how those systems interact with your feelings, your mind, and how you show up in your business every day
The physical, material stuff — your tools, your workflows, your SOPs — that's only one layer. Underneath all of that is a whole human being trying to make it work with the unconventional brain and body they have in a world that wasn’t made for them
And that's where I come in
how this strategy works in practice
Let's say you wanna work a 4-day work week
A productivity coach might tell you to batch your tasks and time block your calendar. Cool, good advice
But what about the part where you freak out because you're not used to taking a day off and your brain is screaming that you're falling behind?
Or you end up with a to-do list so long that your 4-day week turns into a 5-day week anyway and now you feel guilty about it?
Working a 4-day week isn't just about scheduling. It's about:
- creating a supportive environment for the experiment so you can actually try it
- having backup plans for when your energy dips or life happens
- building in grace periods so you can adjust to the new rhythm
- addressing the feelings that come up when you change how you work
That's the kind of stuff a business systems strategist thinks about. The whole picture, not just the surface-level fix
how is this different from a coach, VA, or OBM?
The lines do feel blurry, right? Here's how I'd break it down:
- A VA handles tasks for you — they execute on what you need done
- An OBM manages your operations — they keep the machine running
- A coach helps you work through mindset and goals — usually in structured sessions
- A business systems strategist looks at how all of it connects — your energy, your values, your tools, your workflows, your capacity — and helps you build something that actually holds up as you grow
I'm not doing the work for you (that's what The Notion Concierge is for 😉). I'm helping you think more deeply and intentionally about how you're running things so the systems you build sustainably support the life you want
why one-off sessions aren't always enough
I love a good Ask the Oracle session. we can cover a LOT in an hour
But systems and change management require time to iterate. You build something, you try it, you see what works, you adjust. That's not a one-off kind of thing
I started feeling like I was doing my clients a disservice by only offering one-off calls after a few years in business – especially when the real magic happens over weeks and months as things settle in and you start seeing patterns
what long-term strategic support looks like
I currently work with clients as their fractional Chief Growth Officer (fCGO) — which is a fancy way of saying I'm your strategic partner for 6 months
That means:
- regular calls where we dig into what's working and what's not
- async support so you're able to get questions answered between calls instead of waiting for our next session
- business strategy AND systems strategy — cos they're not separate things to me
- someone in your corner who gets what it's like to build a business with a brain that doesn't come with a standard instruction manual
It's like having a therapist for your business (but I'm not a therapist and I will refer you to one if I think you need it 😅)
is this something you need?
If you're a neurodivergent or chronically ill entrepreneur whose business is working but whose systems are starting to crack under the weight of what you're building — yeah, we should probably talk
You don't need another self-paced course. You don't need another template. You need someone who can help you figure out what YOU specifically need to keep growing without burning out
